Purpose
As a Public Area Cleaner, you are an important part of our Housekeeping crew, making sure our shared spaces are super clean and paying attention to all the small details. You will be comfortable working alone or with your team, and you will love chatting with guests, assisting them with any questions or needs they might have.
The Role
· Casual loading on all hourly rates! Base rate of $25.85. With Loadings: Monday - Friday $32.31ph, Saturday $38.78ph, Sunday $45.24ph and Public Holidays $64.63ph!
· Adult wages for all team members 16 years and above

Primary Responsibilities
· Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out
· Embrace the cleaning challenge, sprucing up both indoor and outdoor public areas (including pool, gym and shared bathrooms) to meet our high cleanliness and presentation standards
· Eagerly stepping in to support room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed
· Expertly handle specialised equipment and chemicals with safety in mind
· Offering help to guests with inquiries and security matters, and collaborating with different departments to accomplish tasks
· Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, from maintenance problems to damaged equipment and missing items
Skills and Experience
· Previous experience in a similar role (as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus
· Your communication style is warm and welcoming, making both guests and team members feel at ease
· You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks
· Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas
· You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds
· Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required
