Assistant Server

 

Clear food and beverage from guest tables, stock all service stations and assist food servers with restaurant service to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Sante Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

·  Set and reset tables correctly within the Santé guidelines
·  Proper and friendly service when in contact with all guests
·  Assist servers in any way with supplies, food, and beverage
·  Maintain extensive knowledge of menu, food preparation
·  Some wine knowledge
·  Expedite clean products to all areas
·  Restock service stations
·  Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and service stations
·  Serve from the cheese cart and maintain extensive knowledge of cheeses
·  Other duties as assigned
·  Side work duties

Qualifications :

·  Previous fine dining experience an asset
·  Must have minimum one year of customer service experience
·  Must be able to speak English and communicate clearly

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

·  Constant standing and walking throughout shift
·  Must be able to carry and/or lift up to 30 lbs
