Job Description

Plumber - Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba

You perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property’s facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment for the guests.

What you will be doing:

·  Takes prompt action relating to all maintenance orders concerning all plumbing services in the guest rooms, kitchen, health club, toilets, plant-rooms, swimming pool, all staff and guest locker rooms and all related areas.
·  Performs preventive maintenance works on all plumbing lines and sanitary fixtures as per the annual maintenance chart.
·  Notes all required spare parts and consumable material and instructs the storekeeper of the requirements.
·  With the help of the checklist, inspects the hotel on daily bases for any defects on the plumbing services and sanitary fixtures and takes prompt action to rectify the defects.
·  Takes the responsibilities of the pool attendant.
·  Takes regular readings on water and gas consumption and records it on the energy consumption record charts

 

Your experience and skills include:

·  Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset
·  Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
·  Highly responsible & reliable

 

Your team and working environment:

·  Member of the fire team.
·  Assists the general mechanic, boiler-man and refrigeration technician whenever required.
·  To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
·  To provide courteous and professional service at all times.
