Job Description
· Ensure duties are performed as per HACCP guidelines
· Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.
· Prepare Requisition for all goods needed.
· Prepare and set up the food for a la carte or buffet as per hotel standards
· Maintain and establish standardized quality of food according to SOPs and Menus
· Brief instructions accordingly
· Follow up banquet event order
· Establish and maintains effective relation with all the employees.
· Coordinates functions and activities with other F&B departments.
Qualifications
· Culinary training and certification NTC 3 Food Production (Pastry) or equivalent as a minimum
· Professional experience in luxury hospitality of at least two years as Assistant Pastry Cook
· Holder of valid Food Handler Certificate
· Good cooking foundation
· Comfortable with both a la carte and buffet style set up, sense of creativity.
· Can work under pressure & adaptable at all times
· Willing to work in shifts or extended number of hours, can work well under pressure, proactive and a team player
· Attention to detail and quality, guest oriented mindset
