Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Night Porter to join our team on a casual basis. Working two nights per week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM , you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This role involves assisting guests, maintaining security, handling late check-ins and early departures, and supporting the night audit process.

Key Responsibilities

·  Welcoming guests with a friendly and professional attitude
·  Carrying luggage and assisting with valet parking for guest vehicles
·  Escorting guests to their rooms and explaining hotel facilities
·  Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation standards of the hotel entrance
·  Delivering amenities and other items to guest rooms
·  Providing tourism information, including dining and entertainment recommendations
·  Promoting the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program
·  Ensuring the highest levels of guest service, with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction
·  Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster, including overnight shifts

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment
·  Ability to lift heavy luggage and provide assistance as needed
·  Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
·  A responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification
·  A C Class Driver's Licence (manual) is essential
·  Ability to work unsupervised and respond promptly to guest needs
·  Experience with upselling and guest interaction is advantageous
