Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Manager to join our team at our prestigious hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Night Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during night-time hours, providing exceptional service to our guests and leading the night shift team.
· Oversee and manage all aspects of hotel operations during the night shift
· Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property
· Supervise and support the Front Office team and other departments as required
· Manage guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
· Implement and maintain strict procedures for cash handling, accounting, and banking
· Monitor room availability and manage overbooking situations sensitively
· Conduct night audit procedures and prepare daily reports
· Supervise night lobby services, including car parking, portering, room service, and public area cleaning
· Resolve disputes and ensure total guest satisfaction
· Collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness
· Train and mentor night shift staff to uphold the hotel's standards and procedures
· Respond to emergencies and make critical decisions when necessary
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Night Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
· Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
· Proficiency in hotel management software, particularly Opera Cloud
· Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Valid and current First Aid and CPR certification
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
· Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
· Professional appearance and demeanour, representing our premium brand
· Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
· Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
· Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is advantageous
