Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service with a smile? Join the luxurious world of Sofitel London St James, where French elegance meets British charm. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Luggage Porter to be part of our exceptional Concierge Team.
About the Role
As a Luggage Porter, you will ensure our guest journey with us begins and ends with a flawless experience. Your role is create memorable first impressions while exemplifying the sophistication and warmth that Sofitel is renowned for.
What you will be doing?
· Greets all guests at the front door politely and courteously and guide them towards the reception desk or function rooms.
· Assists guests with their luggage for both check-ins and check-outs.
· Carries guests' luggage to the room upon check-in and check-out.
· Ensures that all guest property is safely handled and/or stored in the Luggage Room.
· Complies with standards of grooming, elegance and playfulness.
· Replaces Doorman at the door, whenever necessary.
· Handles vehicle parking for guests as per procedure.
Qualifications
· You must hold a valid driving licence and be entitled to work in the UK as this position is not eligible for sponsorship
· Previous experience as a Luggage Porter in a hotel would be beneficial but not essential
· A smart and professional appearance
· A positive attitude and good communication skills
· A willingness to take on physically demanding job
· Careful when driving guest's cars
