Job Description
As Lobby Host, you’ll own the guest journey from arrival to departure — ensuring every moment feels considered, calm, and exceptional.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing for daily VIP arrivals, including room allocations, amenities, and special requests
·
Ensuring VIP mise-en-place is perfectly prepared (welcome drinks)
·
Handling VIP check-in and check-out efficiently, discreetly, and professionally
·
Personally escorting VIP guests to their rooms
·
Accurately updating guest information in the system following check-in
·
Providing warm, attentive, and responsive service to all guests at all times
·
Resolving guest requests and complaints swiftly by coordinating with relevant departments
·
Maintaining strong knowledge of hotel rate codes, packages, segmentation, and discounts
·
Staying in continuous contact with guests to proactively manage any issues or special needs
·
Making daily courtesy calls to VIP rooms and selected guests
·
Ensuring front office areas are clean, organised, and guest-ready at all times
·
Monitoring hotel occupancy, VIP movements, groups, and functions
·
Re-announcing VIP room details to Housekeeping and F&B teams
·
Checking departure details for current and upcoming days
·
Arranging special touches such as bouquets, cakes, and cards for guest anniversaries and birthdays
·
Inspecting VIP rooms after amenities are placed
·
Reviewing guest feedback daily and taking direct action where appropriate
Qualifications
·
Experience in Guest Relations, Lobby Host, or Front Office roles within a luxury hotel
·
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
·
Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
·
Confidence handling VIP guests, sensitive situations, and high expectations
·
Ability to multitask and coordinate across departments seamlessly
