Job Description

About the role :

·  Permanent Part-time, PPT15, minimum guarantee 15 hours per week
·  You will be supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen through food preparation and dishwashing
·  Be responsible for providing the highest level of attention to all aspects of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Kitchen, including but not limited to cutlery, crockery and commercial equipment
·  Recycling and removal of rubbish
·  Assisting Chefs with food preparation
·  Adhere to all sanitation and chemical use guidelines.
·  Follow and adhere to all HACCAP hygiene, ALLSafe and WHS requirements.

Qualifications

A bit about you:

 

You may have previous experience in a similar fast paced environment. Regardless of your level of experience, there are a few things that would make you shine in this role, which include:

·  Great energy and a “Find the YES!” positive attitude.
·  Good time management skills and a willingness to learn.
·  Ability to multi task will be essential to this role
·  Professional, well-groomed appearance, demonstrating pride in presentation.
·  Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays
·  Experience in a similar role is ideal
·  You might be a Commerical Cookery Student, looking to gain some practical experience
·  You hold valid working rights for Australia
