Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·  Clean kitchen equipment, general kitchen areas, dishes, show kitchen, banquet kitchen etc.
·  Maintain kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness at all times.
·  Assist with goods receival and storage of deliveries.
·  Time permitting - Assist with basic food preparation.
·  Help unload deliveries and manage stock rotation.
·  Dispose of waste and recycling maintain cleanliness.
·  Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff if called upon.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

·  Experience required (kitchen / cleaning experience is a requirement). Minimum three shifts required
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
·  Basic knowledge of food safety (training may be provided).
·  Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
·  Take ownership of the kitchen areas and focus on a high level of detail cleaning especially in guest facing open kitchens.
·  Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
·  Good availability across the week.
·  Self-driven, able to work without direct supervision at times.
·  Team player who understands the common goal of cleanliness’ and hygiene.
