Key tasks
Role Purpose:
• Maximize the online sales and revenue of hotels via OTA’s (Online Travel Agents) and ensure top visibility on all channels
• Be the point of contract and entry point for any OTA related topic for the UK region
• Maintain, Build and develop strong & valuable local relationships with all OTA partners
• Communicate & share best practices with both UK hotels & the worldwide OTA community
• Develop new partnership & connectivity with key local players in the OTA market
• Provide insight and data to the UK senior management and trading team on OTA performance trends and analysis that impacts UK Hotels
Key Accountabilities:
Web Performance and Analytics:
• Contribute to the region Top-line trading meeting
• Analyze OTA production per brand, account, segment etc.
• Be a source of proposals & recommendations in the distribution strategy of the UK market
• Participate in regular OTA Business Review Meetings (BRMs) with Central Team and all OTA accounts.
• Build action plan adapted to each hotel’s needs using the OTA levers
• Responsible for the application of the global OTA strategy & rules in the local UK market
• Act as the relay between global team & UK hotels
• Manage local hotel inclusion into OTA schemes, sales and other activity as appropriate
• Communicate with hotels about processes, news & best practices
• Support hotels with any connectivity questions or issue
• Ensure commissions’ payment processes are respected (i.e. Fastcom)
• Obtain market insights to build your package strategy
• Use AccorHotels systems to learn from other regions & share experience

Essential and optional requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
• Senior experience in managing a key account in the travel industry preferably hotels or hospitality sector
• Account Management experience in managing high value accounts with senior stakeholders
• Experience & detailed understanding of hotel distribution channels including rate types, content management systems and connectivity solutions
• Experience of working in a matrix organisation preferably on an International basis
• Experience of managing senior stakeholders at all management levels e.g. CoDir, Global HODs, Hotel Owners
• Dealing and influencing people from different departments with different agendas – Revenue Management , Marketing Operations, Franchisee etc
• Supplier Management and negotiation skills for dealing with partners
• Ability to perform campaign analysis to demonstrate the outcome of all web marketing activity
• Ability to interpret data and analysis to produce trends, key learnings and recommendations
