BODA, which is located on the top floor of Mövenpick Hotel Auckland, is looking a Junior Sous Chef – Banquets, to be a part of the team and contribute in the delivery of modern Asian culinary styles with a New Zealand twist.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the preparation and execution of dishes, ensuring they meet our impeccable standards.
· Collaborate closely with the Executive culinary team to develop new culinary concepts and menu items.
· Supervise staff to ensure consistency and standards of presentation are provided for all meals
· Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
· Engage in ongoing learning to refine your skills and stay up-to-date with culinary trends.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
· Previous experience working in a busy kitchen with high standards
· Reliable and hardworking.
· Strong people management and training skills
· Team player with the ability to work under pressure.
· Has excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and a positive attitude
