Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative IT Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily IT operations, managing technical projects, and ensuring the efficiency and security of our IT infrastructure.

·  Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
·  Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to optimise system performance and security
·  Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure
·  Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget
·  Analyse and resolve complex IT issues, providing technical support to end-users when necessary
·  Collaborate with other departments to align IT strategies with organisational goals
·  Monitor and report on IT system performance, security, and user satisfaction
·  Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
·  Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organisation
·  Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment
·  Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
·  Proven experience in IT management, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
·  Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
·  In-depth understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and management systems
·  Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
·  Proficiency in data analysis and report generation
·  Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
·  Experience with project management methodologies and IT service management frameworks
·  Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and risk management
·  Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and infrastructure management
·  Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
·  Proficiency in IT-specific software and systems
·  Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, CISSP) would be advantageous
·  Fluency in English required; Vietnamese language skills highly desirable
·  Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays, to support critical IT operations
