Job Description

·  Hygiene managers are safety and health professionals who inspect and supervise workplaces to ensure that workers and the public are protected from dangerous or unsafe conditions.
·  They may inspect work spaces and machinery to verify that it is safe, and study the effects that business have on the surrounding environment.
·  Hygiene managers may make recommendations about how companies might operate in a safer manner, and often work for government agencies, enforcing regulations.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor of Food Science
·  Minimum 2 to 3 years Hygiene Manager experience preferably in four or five star hotel.
·  Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
·  HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point)
·  Responsible, a self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and of working under pressure.
·  Good communication & guest relation’s skills, a proactive problem solver.
·  Good management skills.
·  Ability to train culinary and service team on hygiene standards.
