Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Human Resources Manager to join our team in Sofitel SO Mauritius. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organization's culture, driving employee engagement, and implementing strategic talent management initiatives.
· Develop and execute the annual HR Department Business Plan, aligning it with overall organizational goals
· Lead recruitment efforts to meet talent needs, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and best practices
· Design and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
· Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
· Drive HR solutions such as reward and recognition programs, employee wellbeing initiatives, and leadership development
· Manage the salary review process and ensure competitive compensation practices
· Analyze HR metrics and employee feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
· Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and optimize workforce planning
· Foster a diverse, inclusive, and positive work environment that aligns with the company's values and culture
· Stay updated on HR trends, employment laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management/Hotel Management
· Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Management experience in hospitality industry
· Thorough understanding of Mauritian employment legislation
· Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English/French language
· Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
