Job Description
 
·  Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance. 
·  Create and maintain work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs. 
·  Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and foster a positive work environment. 
·  Resolve staff conflicts and address performance issues in a timely and professional manner. 
·  Motivate and encourage team members to achieve high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. 
·  Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards. 
·  Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed. 
·  Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment. 
·  Address and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping services. 
·  Maintain knowledge of and enforce safety and sanitation procedures. 
·  Maintain accurate records of work performed, inventory, and staff schedules. 
·  Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping activities and performance. 
·  Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures. 
·  Manage budgets related to housekeeping supplies and equipment. 
·  Perform regular inspections of rooms and common areas. 
·  Ensure that customer service is a high priority for all members of the housekeeping staff. 
·  Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner. 
·  Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.  
 
Qualifications
 
·  High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.   
·  Proven experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience preferred. 
·  Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment. 
·  Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
·  Strong leadership and communication skills. 
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   
·  Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
·  Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.   
·  Computer literacy.
