Key tasks

The overall responsibility of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to contribute to the successful function of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department, providing extended support to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper as and when required.

• Assists in the supervision of the Housekeeping operation, including Laundry and the Internal Communication Center, ensuring compliance to the hotel policies and procedures.
• Conducts daily briefings to the team and assigns tasks accordingly.
• Monitors inventory, filing stock requests where necessary.
• Inspects the service and delivery standard for all guest rooms, corridors, pantries and service areas.
• Ensures the strict control of room keys and section keys.
• Reports and delivers items to Lost and Found.
• Escalates any issues to higher management and takes further action accordingly.
• Notifies the Manager on duty of any damages caused by guests.
• Maintains flowers in the rooms and lobby area.
• Helps to facilitate any Pest Control services and/or maintenance work.
