Job Description

Calling all Night Owls!

Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park are seeking a dedicated, reliable and service-oriented customer service extraordinaire to join our hotel overnight Front Office team in a Night Auditing role. 

Joining us an experienced  Hotel Night Auditor,  you will be responsible for rolling our financial system from the day. In addition, you will provide a positive guest experience and welcome our late-night arrivals. Working 11PM - 7AM shifts alongside our Night Manager, you will process nightly reports, contributing to a smooth overnight shift with an opportunity to build upon your skillset.

What You'll be doing!

·  Welcoming our late arrival guests and farewell to our early departures.
·  Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel’s overnight operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.
·  Taking initiative to ensure positive and productive interactions with our customers.
·  Undertake the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, including checking and preparing reports, completing audits, and collating the necessary paperwork for departures.
·  Prepare and distribute relevant reports to relevant departments.
·  Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guest details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.

Qualifications

About You! 

·  A passion for providing a positive guest experience with a desire to create memorable experiences. 
·  Previous experience using Opera is desirable. 
·  "Detail-oriented and numerically minded, ensuring procedures are followed.
·  Confidence in making credit card and cash transactions.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·  The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
·  Solution minded with a strong ability to problem solve. 
·  Empathetic in nature with a desire and ability to assist all kinds of clientele.
·  Valid Driver's License (Desirable).
