Job Description

Guest Relations & Seating Management:

·  Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
·  Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
·  Manage and coordinate table reservations efficiently.
·  Maintain an organized and accurate seating plan to optimize table turnover.
·  Handle special guest requests, including VIPs and personalized dining preferences.

Reservation & Communication:

·  Manage reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
·  Confirm and follow up on reservations to ensure smooth operations.
·  Communicate effectively with the restaurant team regarding guest preferences, dietary restrictions, or special occasions.

Customer Service & Hospitality:

·  Provide guests with information about the menu, restaurant specialties, and promotions.
·  Assist in handling guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
·  Maintain a high level of personal grooming and adhere to hotel uniform standards.
·  Uphold the five-star hospitality standards of the hotel by delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Administrative & Organizational Tasks:

·  Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
·  Maintain and update guest records for future reference.
·  Support the restaurant team in daily operations when needed.
·  Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations as per hotel policies.

Qualifications

·  High school diploma or equivalent (a hospitality degree is a plus).
·  Previous experience as a hostess in a luxury restaurant or five-star hotel is preferred.
·  Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, ResDiary) is an advantage.
