Mercure Perth is conveniently located in the heart of Perth city, with the major shopping, entertainment and nightlife areas all close by. The hotel features 239 well-appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.
Job Description
As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors to the hotel. Your key responsibilities will include:
· Managing arrivals and departures
· Responding to guest requests efficiently and courteously
· Communicating with other departments to ensure all guest requests and needs are met
· Actively resolving guest issues and challenges
· Promoting the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program
· Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster including AM and PM shifts and nights as required.
You will also be well-presented with a positive and professional attitude and have a passion for hotel operations and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role plus:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Time management skills with the ability to multi-task
· Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of team members
· Ability to provide prompt and efficient service including upselling advantageous
· Entrepreneurial spirit with drive, ambition, and a high level of energy
· Responsible Service of Alcohol
· C Class Drivers Licence
