Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Relations Manager to join our team in the beautiful coastal city of Hurghada, Egypt. As the face of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our reputation for outstanding hospitality.
· Lead and support all aspects of guest relations, including front desk operations, concierge services, and VIP guest management
· Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
· Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring positive resolutions
· Collaborate with various departments to coordinate seamless guest experiences
· Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
· Manage room assignments and special requests for VIP guests and groups
· Train and mentor team members to deliver exceptional customer service
· Monitor and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service quality
· Implement and promote loyalty programs to drive guest retention and revenue
· Coordinate with local tour operators and attractions to enhance guest experiences
· Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
· Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively
· Stay updated on local events, attractions, and cultural activities to provide informed recommendations to guests
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
· Minimum of 2 years of proven leadership experience in guest relations or a similar role
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Proficiency in hotel management software, preferably Opera Property Management System
· Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
· Familiarity with the local tourism industry, attractions, and cultural customs in Hurghada and surrounding areas
· Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
· Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating lasting memories
· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
· Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices
