Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage department in Bengaluru, India. As a GSA - F&B, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing professional and efficient service.

·  Greet and welcome guests according to company standards, ensuring a positive first impression
·  Take and process guest orders accurately, providing menu recommendations when appropriate
·  Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
·  Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
·  Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
·  Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any food-related issues
·  Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
·  Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
·  Assist in setting up and breaking down for special events or functions
·  Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and any changes in offerings
·  Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining open communication

Qualifications

·  Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
·  Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
·  Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
·  Strong knowledge of food and beverage products, including menu items and preparation methods
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
·  Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
·  Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
·  Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
·  Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
·  Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
·  Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively
·  Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
