Golf Events Coordinator

At The Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club, our Golf Event Coordinator sets the foundation for our groups and tournaments. This position involves the ability to multi-task and be customer focused. We are committed to provide a memorable golfing experience for all!

This is a  full-time, seasonal  role, beginning in  April 2026 , and ending in  October 2026.

Rate of Pay:  $27.05 per hour

Job Duties Include:

·  Liaise with clients on all details relating to their event (before/during/after)
·  Ensure that events/outings are run smoothly & professionally
·  Create all collateral materials related to the events (cart signs, bag tags, scorecards, banquet event orders (BEO), Event Resume, tee-gifts etc.)
·  Maximize profits through effective sales techniques relating to food & beverage and retail
·  Perform computer and/or manual scoring duties as required by our guests in a timely and accurate manner
·  Create Event Resumes and have them into distribution 2 weeks prior to every event to ensure that all applicable hotel and golf departments are informed about upcoming events.
·  Liaise with Golf Shop, Golf Services and Golf Course Maintenance departments to ensure that specific duties related to events are performed to the guest specifications
·  Perform site visits as required by the Golf Course Sales Manager

Qualifications

·  Post-Secondary Education in a recognized Professional Golf Management program is an asset but not required.
·  Computer literate, especially with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and POS software programs is a mandatory requirement
·  Valid BC Driver's License, with a clean record, is required
·  Experience with Tee-Time Reservation systems, OSEM and Golf Genius is an asset
