Job Description
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As the face of our hotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences while leading and motivating our front office team.
· Manage and supervise front office staff to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction
· Oversee check-in, check-out, and room change procedures, ensuring accurate data entry into hotel systems
· Handle guest complaints, inquiries, and requests promptly and courteously
· Conduct shift briefings to communicate hotel activities and operational requirements
· Maintain cashier float and ensure accurate daily reporting of all financial transactions
· Implement and monitor standard reservation procedures
· Promote hotel services and loyalty programs to maximize revenue opportunities
· Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
· Foster a collaborative work environment and mentor team members for professional growth
· Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative practices to enhance guest experiences
Qualifications
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hotel front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
· Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of team management
· Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems
· Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Knowledge of local culture and customs in Doha, Qatar
· Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure
