Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
· Direct and coordinate all food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets
· Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, service excellence, and hygiene throughout all F&B areas
· Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
· Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other departments to create innovative dining experiences and promotional events
· Develop and manage F&B budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue
· Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of F&B staff to deliver outstanding service
· Oversee inventory management, supplier relations, and purchasing processes
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
· Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge
· Implement and maintain quality control and performance measurement systems
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar senior F&B role
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams
· Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is a plus
· In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
· Demonstrated ability in financial management, including budgeting and cost control
· Proficiency in inventory management and familiarity with POS systems
· Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
· Exceptional customer service orientation with a track record of enhancing guest experiences
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Proven skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving in high-pressure environments
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hospitality management software
