Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and committed Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage and oversee the seamless and efficient management of the Cliveden Bar & Dining & assisting with Sanctum HQ (Melbourne’s ultimate members’ club for exclusive experiences) while consistently delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.

You're responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to): 

·  You will form part of the Food & Beverage management team providing ongoing support, training and development to team members.
·  Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage to support revenue initiatives and maintain cost controls.
·  Assist in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members which a particular focus on ensuring we maintain brand standards and cultivate an upselling culture.
·  Prepare, manage and assist in facilitating event operational requirements.
·  Prepare and manage team members for a smooth operation.
·  Ensure rosters have adequate number of team members for future events.
·  Effectively handle guest feedback and provide a prompt positive outcome. 

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will hold the below (but not limited to): 

·  2+ years’ experience within the Food & Beverage. 
·  Sound understanding of emerging trends in the industry, with an innovative mindset.
·  Strong focus and passion for hotel, food and beverage operations, and guest satisfaction.
·  Ability to excel within a busy operation and be able to multitask with a warm friendly approach
·  Ability to work flexibility (including nights, weekends, public holidays). 
·  Possession of impeccable attention to detail and time management skills.
·  Ability to work independently and lead a team to deliver successful operations.
·  Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
·  Must hold a valid RSA.
