Job Description

The Novotel Rotorua Lakeside and Ibis Rotorua Lakeside is a dual branded complex hotel with 344 rooms located in central Rotorua.

Our  two hotels include,  Atlas Café & Restaurant, Clarkes Bar and Ibis restaurant. 10 conference / banquet rooms and our own InBalance Fitness Centre.

What you will be doing:

·  Responsible for clearing and re-setting Atlas Restaurant during and after service
·  Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces during and after service
·  Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
·  Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
·  Responsible for serving hot beverages as a barista
·  Engaging guests and managing queries during service

Qualifications

Your experience and skills will include:

·  Organized and a great team player
·  Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
·  Understanding of food safety and hygiene
·  Previous experience as a barista an asset but not essential
·  Great customer service attitude
