Job Description

How does your working day look like …

·  Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
·  Manage the hotel's accounts payable and receivable functions.
·  Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations.
·  Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and forecasts.
·  Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
·  Perform financial analysis and reporting on operational performance.
·  Coordinate with department heads to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget adherence.
·  Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
·  Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
·  Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
·  Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with external auditors.
·  Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
·  Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the hotel's assets.
·  Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
·  Participate in strategic planning and provide financial input for business development initiatives.


Your personality counts more than your CV …

·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
·  CPA certification preferred.
·  Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
·  Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
·  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
·  Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
