Looking for your next BIG adventure? Ready to explore? We are seeking a Finance Officer for Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel in the heart of Kakadu National Park. Step into Australia’s most iconic National Park and join one of Australia's most unique hotels.
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior finance officer to join Kakadu's largest collection of accommodation, adventure and wetlands tours. Outside of endless training you will receive from our Assistant Financial Controller onsite, there are growth and development opportunities within Kakadu Tourism and Accor.
Job Description
Be a pro-active team member and assist with all aspects for finance.
-Accurate and timely supplier invoice data entry.
-Correct general ledger coding of supplier invoices.
-End of months accruals and journals.
-Answer debtors' enquiries promptly.
-Daily bank reconciliations.
-End of month reconciliations.
-General administration including e-filing.
Qualifications
What we need from you:
-Working in an accounts role or similar.
-A passion for positive outcomes in Indigenous communities and businesses supporting these regions.
-High level of analytical and problem solving skills.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively with Head of Department via phone, email and in person.
-Attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving skills are essential.
-A recognised university degree in accountancy would be advantageous.
