Key tasks
Position Overview: The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for giving direction to the entire housekeeping and laundry operational departments. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for continually focusing on quality and contributing to hotel profitability through effective cost controls. They must achieve guest satisfaction targets and team member satisfaction goals. In addition, they are responsible for developing and training team members.
Key Job Responsibilities
1)Oversee the Housekeeping operations, ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed
2)Ensure that all rooms are prepared and inspected as per standards and according to guests requests and needs, including turn down service
3) Ensure the upkeeping of all the font of the house and designated back of the house areas including checking of night cleaning
4) Oversee external vendors such as laundry and pest control service to ensure proper handlng procedures and processes are in line
5) Any other duties as assigned by Management
Key Job Requirements:
1)Is a perfectionist; a sharp eye for detail leads to excellence
2)Previous management experience in housekeeping operations of luxury hotel scale
3)Ability to maintain effective operating and control processes designed to provide maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction.
4)Minimum 8 years of experience in Housekeeping with at least 3 years in a managerial role
