Job description

Key tasks

Assists the General Manager in implementing the brand and hotel strategy, in order to meet targets for quality of service, attitude and profitability.
Asian experience preferred in a major city centre hotel
High degree of professional work Ethics
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel and provide direction, guidance and support to all Operating Departments: Rooms (Front Office, Club Metropole, Housekeeping) Food & Beverage (Kitchen and FOH) Engineering, Spa and Duty Managers
Ensure that all operational departments are maximizing revenue and profit potentials while minimizing costs
Is responsible for providing innovation and renewal in the hotel’s guest experience, with particular focus on Rooms & F&B.
In the absence of the General Manager, the EAM is responsible for the entire hotel operations / administration.
Excellent communication skills and being able to adapt to the local culture are the key for success
Ambitious, yet humble, outgoing and flexible personality, polished appearance.
Detail orientation, creativity, great administrative skills, computer and systems savvy (Opera knowledge / Micros)
Ensure optimal compliance with corporate focus audit
Be an integral part of the business team, attends all scheduled meetings and contributes actively with proper preparation
