Key tasks

Strategy:
- Building Digital yearly plan for the hotel. Across Direct & Indirect channels
- Hotel strategy contribution, working in close relation with key stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, revenue and PR.
- Building individual hotel’s online budget planning and Digital Marketing plan.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Corporate Director of E-Commerce in developing and increasing traffic through direct and semi-direct online channels that will improve the overall revenue for the properties and other key financial and customer matrix.
• Evaluating the performance of our branded website and give suggestions for how to promote and improve the presence of the hotels on the web, with the intention of increasing number of bookings and keeping the website up to date
• Monitor, implement and execute the active presence of the properties on all Social Media tools to maximize the online exposure of the properties.
• Ensure the properties content (photography & descriptions) in all online channels remain accurate and brand compliant.
• Conduct regular quality assurance audits on the hotels descriptive content & images to ensure parity on all channels and integrity with brand website.
• Load and update content (photography & descriptions) for the property on all online channels in consultation with the Director of Sales and Marketing and corporate office.
• Monitor and assess the properties reviews on online portals and ensure that official feedback from the hotels is in place whenever necessary.
• Identifying and evaluating new marketing opportunities to increase direct internet traffic and drive online production.
• Evaluate the online presence and rate position of immediate competitors.
• Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in creating, monitoring and implementing the full year Online Marketing and advertising plan.
• Actively develop and maintain a database of corporate & hotel’s email newsletter subscribers. Schedule regular sending to all guests and individuals who have subscribed.
• Optimizing Social Media tools usage (Social Media desk, Local Measure etc.) and paid social media marketing.
• Monitor and assist in ensuring Rate parity together with the Revenue Director/Manager throughout all electronic distribution channels.

Reporting:
• Reporting and Analysis of Web Direct & Indirect performance for the hotel.
• Reporting and Optimization of performance through Acquisition levers. Including but not limited to SEO, DISPLAY, META & SOCIAL MEDIA)
• Monthly update on hotels action plans and communication calendar.
• Reporting directly to GM or Director of Sales and reporting dotted line to Director Ecommerce & Regional Ecommerce Manager.

Essential and optional requirements

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years E-Commerce / Digital Manager in hotels
• A degree in Hospitality Management or in advertising, marketing or communication graduate with preferable experiences in a similar field.
• Previous Middle East preferably Dubai experience
• Excellent English, both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
• Excellent Presentation and customer relationship skills
• Energetic, smiling, and passionate to his/her work
