Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, assisting the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and efficiency.
· Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and standards
· Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
· Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and menu planning
· Monitor stock levels and inform superiors about necessary replenishments
· Adhere to food safety regulations and HACCP standards
· Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
· Contribute creative ideas for new menu items and dish improvements
· Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
· Assist in portion control and food cost management
Qualifications
· Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts
· 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting
· Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
· Basic Food Safety certification or HACCP experience
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong teamwork and communication skills
· Creativity and passion for culinary innovation
· Physical stamina and dexterity to handle kitchen equipment and stand for extended periods
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
