As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in maintaining the high culinary standards of our kitchen. You are expected to take ownership of your section and actively contribute to the overall success of the culinary team by delivering consistent quality, bringing forward ideas, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the consistency and quality of all food items prepared, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines for à la carte and/or buffet menus.
Actively contribute ideas, suggestions, and feedback to enhance the kitchen environment and evolve menu offerings.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination and maintain open, effective communication.
Take initiative in seeking guest feedback and use it constructively to improve food quality and presentation.
Adhere to the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
Support the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef when required, demonstrating leadership and reliability.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or fine-dining kitchen in a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to contribute creatively.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
