Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join the team as our Pastry Chef de Partie (Conference and Events)!

Qualifications

We are seeking an exceptional full-time Pastry Chef de Partie to join our Conference      

·  Must have several years of experience working in a high volume 5-star Luxury Hotel Conference and Events environment
·  Ability to demonstrate advanced patisserie skills including chocolate tempering
·  5 star Luxury Hotel VIP club experience is essential for this role 
·  A team player with good communication skills
·  Ability to work in a fast paced environment
·  Excellent attention to detail
·  Passion for food and quality products and ingredients
·  Adept in using commercial–grade kitchen equipment
·  Supervise and prepare all baked goods; pastries and desserts in accordance with established recipes 
·  Maintain high levels of communication between Sous-Chefs and Chef de Parties at all times, in particular ensuring special messages/requests are dealt with promptly 
·  Operate in accordance with HACCP standards at all times
·  Must have full Australian working rights. 
·  38 Hours weekly rotating roster; hourly pay rate Restaurant Industry Award.
