With 517 refurbished rooms, 10 conference rooms, and multiple food and beverage outlets, the Concierge Team is on the lookout for Full Time Concierge Team Leader .

Mercure Sydney is on the lookout for a Concierge Team Leader to become part of our energetic and welcoming team.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Providing outstanding, personalised, and engaging service to make every guest feel at home.
· Serve as Mercure Sydney’s brand ambassador, delivering expert local insights and tailored recommendations to elevate the guest experience
· Curate exceptional concierge services, ensuring seamless arrivals and personalized recognition for VIP guests
· Collaborate closely with Front Office leadership to support smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction
· Train, mentor, and motivate the concierge team to consistently provide outstanding, guest-focused hospitality
· Contribute to revenue generation through strategic service offerings and upselling opportunities
· Champion a service-first culture, creating memorable experiences at every guest interaction
· Assist the porters in delivering guest’s luggage to and from the guest’s room on arrival and departure
· Ability to lift, push and pull large objects up to 23kgs
Qualifications
· Proven background as a Concierge or Concierge Team Leader within a midscale hotel environment
· Outstanding guest service abilities, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English
· Friendly, guest-focused demeanor with a genuine passion for providing assistance and creating memorable experiences
· Skilled in Microsoft Office and Opera systems, with demonstrated strengths in analysis, problem-solving, and multitasking
· Effective team leader with a talent for motivating, guiding, and developing staff to achieve high performance
