Key tasks

Working in a busy kitchen which looks after a dual branded Novotel and Ibis property with rooms 247 rooms you will be responsible for:

• Running your own section, ensuring service is smooth
• Preparing adequate mis en place for service
• Preparing and cooking meals for staff
• Assisting other sections if they need help
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
• Flexible approach in adapting to guests requests
• Liaising with Food & Beverage Attendants
• Provide assistance to conferencing catering team
• Must have a valid visa/work rights for New Zealand

• A passion for delivering a great food experience
• Kitchen experience at a similar level is preferred
• Flexibility with your availability particularly evenings & weekends
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Must hold a National Certificate in Hospitality Level 3 in Professional Cookery
