We are seeking a valuable team member for the position of “ Commis " to be considered at Rixos Tersane İstanbul.
Job Description
· Collect daily materials from storage and deliver them to the kitchen.
· Carry out food preparation duties in line with established standards and daily buffet programs.
· Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
· Keep the workstation and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
· Support kitchen operations within the assigned section and collaborate with other teams.
· Assist the stewarding team in maintaining overall kitchen hygiene.
· Comply with hotel policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
Qualifications
· High school or university degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
· Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
· Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work.
