Job Description
The Cluster Assistant Credit Manager supports credit management across two properties, handling credit risk assessment, accounts receivable, timely collections, and compliance with credit policies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debts.
· Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures while recommending appropriate credit limits.
· Monitor and review the financial stability of existing customers and suggest necessary credit adjustments.
· Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts through emails, calls, and coordination with the sales team.
· Work closely with customers to resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, or billing issues.
· Implement strategies to reduce overdue debts and improve cash flow
· Ensure all credit approvals, customer accounts, and payment agreements comply with company policies and industry regulations.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit records and documentation for audit purposes.
· Assist in the periodic review of credit policies and suggest improvements based on market trends
· Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, and Operations) to ensure alignment on credit terms and risk mitigation strategies.
· Support the preparation of reports for credit meetings and audits
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in credit management, accounts receivable, or finance.
· Strong knowledge of credit assessment, financial analysis, and risk evaluation.
· Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
