Job Description

 

·  Oversee efficient operation and maintenance of hotel property, equipment, and grounds, ensuring protection of the Owner's asset.
·  Manage the engineering department, coordinating with other hotel teams to maintain high standards for guest experience.
·  Control expenditure, manage CAPEX projects, and optimise operational costs, including energy and water usage.
·  Ensure compliance with Mövenpick's MEP, Fire & Life Safety, and environmental standards.
·  Implement and oversee Preventive Maintenance Programme for guest rooms, public areas, and safety systems.
·  Manage mechanical systems, including HVAC, water circulation, and electrical systems.
·  Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, staff, and hotel management.
·  Prepare CAPEX expenditures for the engineering department and assist other departments as needed.

 

Qualifications

·  Extensive knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA requirements
·  Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
·  Highly organized with ability to work under pressure and lead by example
·  Proficient in computerized maintenance systems and general computer applications
