Job Description

What you will be doing:

·  Assist the Pastry Chef in supervising and overseeing the daily operations of the pastry team.
·  Able to work with minimum supervision.
·  Create, prepare and present menu items and specials.
·  Communicate with Pastry team smoothly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
·  Keep a minimum waste proactively in controlling food cost levels.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

·  Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand. Maldives’ work experience is preferred.
·  Proficient in English.
·  Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
·  Great attention to detail and creativity especially for buffet presentations.
·  Working knowledge of HACCP, health and safety and hygiene procedures.
·  Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, flexible working hours, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
·  Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
