Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie specializing in Bakery and Pastry to join our culinary team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating exquisite baked goods and pastries that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.

·  Prepare and produce a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts
·  Develop and refine recipes to ensure consistent quality and taste
·  Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to create innovative menu items and seasonal specials
·  Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene in the bakery and pastry section
·  Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
·  Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in bakery and pastry techniques
·  Ensure timely preparation and delivery of baked goods for service
·  Assist in menu planning and cost control for the bakery and pastry department
·  Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement

Qualifications

·  Culinary degree or diploma with a focus on baking and pastry arts
·  Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, specializing in bakery and pastry
·  Proficiency in a wide range of baking and pastry techniques
·  Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification
·  Expertise in using various baking equipment and tools
·  Excellent organizational and time management skills
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
·  Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and presentation
·  Strong team collaboration and communication skills
·  Knowledge of international pastry trends and techniques
·  Ability to read and execute standardized recipes
·  Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
