Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Swissotel Wellness Resort Alatau Almaty. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for a specific kitchen section, preparing dishes to the highest standards, ensuring food safety compliance, and supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

· 
Manage and operate an assigned section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, garnish) in accordance with hotel standards.

· 
Prepare and present dishes according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality guidelines.

· 
Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations.

· 
Monitor ingredient quality and freshness, reporting any shortages or quality issues.

· 
Maintain cleanliness and order in the assigned kitchen section, equipment, and storage areas.

· 
Assist in training and mentoring junior cooks and kitchen assistants.

· 
Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination during service.

· 
Control waste, manage portion sizes, and ensure efficient use of resources.

· 
Participate in menu planning, suggesting improvements or new dishes.

· 
Follow all Swissotel standards, policies, and procedures.

· 
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.

· 
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.

· 
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures.

· 
Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor.

· 
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· 
Good communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.

· 
Basic English knowledge preferred.
