Job Description

How does your working day look like …

 

·  To receive and follow for day to day maintenance call given by Maintenance Manager
·  Report the summary of job carried out for individual apartments and common area including all used Spare parts and accessories
·  To carry out general maintenance as per schedule provided by Maintenance Manager for Carpentry and joinery work
·  Repair broken or damaged furniture, fixtures, and fittings promptly to maintain the hotel’s premium appearance.
·  New installation joinery work such as Gypsum partition, Doors, windows, Wardrobes, Cabinets, etc.
·  Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to the hotel’s safety and cleanliness standards.
·  Ensure high-quality finishes for all carpentry work, including sanding, staining, and painting.
·  Modification and troubleshooting for any related to the Carpentry such as furniture assemble and dismantle
·  Provide assistant to the team whenever requested for any issues to complete project smoothly and safely
·  Study for consumable spare parts rectification and want on repair instead of replacement with in limitation for saving and safety consideration
·  Keep an inventory of carpentry tools and materials, ensuring they are properly maintained and stocked.

Qualifications

Your personality counts more than your CV …

·  High school diploma or equivalent. Carpentry certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
·  Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a carpenter, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting, with a strong background in woodwork repairs and maintenance.
·  Familiarity with power tools and carpentry machinery.
·  Strong attention to detail, with an eye for high-quality craftsmanship.
·  Problem-solving abilities and creativity in carpentry solutions.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
