Job Description
We seek a driven and goal-oriented Business Development Manager, motivated by results and possessing extensive experience in managing multiple properties and intricate business units. You will benefit from the support of our Commercial and Marketing teams as you engage with diverse customer dynamics.
About the role:
· Source and convert new business opportunities for Hotel Woolstore 1888 Sydney and Novotel Sunshine Coast Resorts.
· Account Management and proactive sales for Hotel Woolstore 1888 Sydney – Handwritten Collection across all market segments.
· Account management and proactive sales for Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort are for MICE Segment only.
· Achieve performance objectives through effective implementation of Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, and digital initiatives.
· Collaborate closely with Portfolio Sales and Marketing teams to optimise market positioning continuously.
· Partner with the Portfolio Revenue team to attain optimal revpar/revenue/yield results across all business segments.
· Formulate tactical approaches to secure significant business opportunities.
· Participate in regular meetings with Sales and Marketing teams to facilitate key communications and report on activities.
· Review weekly forecasts and market share reports, actively contributing to maintaining business levels and market share.
Qualifications
About you:
· Seasoned Multi-Hotel Business Development Manager with a background in managing multiple properties or complex business units.
· Proficient in working with diverse and remote teams.
· Confident and accountable leader with exceptional communication skills, adept at managing competing priorities.
· Results-driven individual with a strategic mindset and a commitment to driving performance.
· Detail-oriented critical thinker with a curious mindset, passionate about motivating others.
· Capable of collaborating with highly engaged teams across multiple markets and adept at navigating various customer dynamics.
