Job Description
What you'll be doing...
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing Hotel Chadstone's market presence. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key partners, and driving the hotel’s revenue growth. You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Revenue and operational teams to create and execute strategies that increase the hotel's visibility, attract new clients, and maximise overall revenue potential.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities for the hotel across corporate, leisure and MICE market segments.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
· Negotiate contracts to achieve revenue targets.
· Develop and implement business development strategies to increase market share and brand presence.
· Represent the hotel at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to build and enhance the hotel’s luxury brand positioning.
· Track market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
· Conduct presentations and host site visits to potential clients.
Qualifications
What we're looking for...
· A degree in business, marketing, hotel management, or a related field is a distinct advantage.
· Experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally within the luxury hospitality sector.
· Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
· Ability to think creatively and strategically to identify new business opportunities.
· Strong understanding of the luxury market and guest expectations.
