Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Buggy Driver to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Buggy Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience whilst exploring our resort and its surroundings.
· Operate and drive buggies safely to transport guests around the resort and nearby areas
· Provide excellent customer service, offering a warm welcome and assisting guests with their luggage and enquiries
· Maintain a thorough knowledge of the resort layout, facilities, and local attractions to guide and inform guests
· Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate team
· Ensure buggies are clean, tidy, and properly equipped before each shift
· Assist in keeping pathways and buggy stations organised and free from obstacles
· Respond promptly to guest requests for buggy transportation
· Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations whilst operating the buggy
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
· Assist in emergency situations and evacuations when required
Qualifications
· Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
· Previous experience in driving or operating small vehicles
· Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanour
· Basic English language proficiency; additional language skills are advantageous
· Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
· Ability to read maps and navigate the resort grounds efficiently
· Strong attention to safety and adherence to traffic rules
· Physical fitness to assist with luggage handling and prolonged periods of driving
· Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
· First aid certification (preferred)
· Previous experience in a customer-facing role in hospitality or tourism (preferred)
· Familiarity with Phu Quoc island and its attractions (preferred)
