Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service while preparing high-quality beverages for our guests in a professional and friendly manner.
· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and standards
· Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and glassware are properly sanitized
· Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items
· Verify customers' age and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service
· Manage inventory, restock supplies, and assist in ordering when necessary
· Process payments accurately and efficiently
· Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service operations
· Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
· Stay updated on beverage trends and suggest new drink ideas to management
· Assist in creating and updating drink menus
· Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Bartender in a similar establishment
· Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
· Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
· Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English
· Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
· Knowledge of local liquor laws, regulations, and responsible alcohol service
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
· Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
· Clean and professional appearance
· Responsible, dependable, and punctual work ethic
· Knowledge of local customs and cultural sensitivity
· Certification in food safety and alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional bartending certifications are advantageous
