Job Description
To provide efficient and professional food and beverage service to guest satisfaction. To act as a leader to the staff/department and adhere to the policies, procedures and standards and the overall guest experience.
· To report to duty punctually in uniform in order to maintain the integrity of co-workers and guests.
· Perform all specific duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager.
· Takes initiative for extending service to guests in the manner set forth by management and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
· Perform opening and closing duties according to department standards
· Ensures service area is clean and tidy during service.
· Familiarizes themselves with all aspects of the menu to be able to answer general inquiries.
· Conducts themselves in a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests, colleagues and supervisors.
· To have a complete understanding of all the duties and responsibilities of the outlet.
· Adhere to the requirements of the controlling/cash system.
· Adhere to specifications of the controllers system relating to cash intake, out take.
· To have a complete understanding of cash-out procedures regarding voids
· Carry out any other reasonable duty that may be requested that pertains to the total operation of the outlet.
Qualifications
· Previous work experience in a restaurant/food and beverage setting
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Physical Aspects of Position include but are not limited to the following:
· Constant standing and walking throughout shift
· Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
· Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
· Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
