We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Manager for our outlet in Visakhapatnam, India. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
· Oversee daily operations of the outlet, maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness
· Assist in managing and motivating the team to achieve performance goals and maintain customer satisfaction
· Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service and increasing revenue
· Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards
· Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
· Assist in creating staff schedules and managing labor costs
· Conduct regular staff training sessions to improve product knowledge and service skills
· Participate in menu planning and pricing strategies
· Analyze sales data and prepare reports for upper management
· Maintain a safe and organized work environment for staff and customers
Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet
· Prior experience as a supervisor in a similar setting
· Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages and food service operations
· Excellent leadership and team management skills
· Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
· Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems
· Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
· Familiarity with local cuisine and food trends in Visakhapatnam
· Basic financial management skills for inventory and cost control
